Airline Network and Business Development Manager

The role will play a key role In working with airline strategy, commercial, network and planning teams. A key role negotiating internally and with customers to leverage best use of scarce capacity on high value assets - runways, terminals and aircraft.
Propose how Heathrow makes the most from scarce capacity, maximising use of runway, terminal and airfield resources in order to drive growth. Key role in slots, terminal occupancy and execution of pricing strategies. Develop further Heathrow presence in the air freight industry, building an understanding of where freighters add value and executing strategy as appropriate Develop proposal for growth pathway to additional capacity, considering all infrastructure bottlenecks and opportunities Develop key insights to airline strategies, understanding how market segmentation and local / regional competition should influence airport strategy and our approach to key accounts Develop and represent Heathrow policy positions - including at industry fora and customer facing engagements e.g. Airline, IATA, ACL and ACI Contribute to Airport pricing reviews and exploit strategic insight to influence airline pricing and contribute to passenger growth
Qualifications and Experience
Highly numerate and able to simply articulate the "story behind the numbers" Comfortable operating in a high profile role with a high degree of autonomy Tenacious with an ability to both understand internal performance and motivate others to improve it Skilled negotiator with an ability to operate on specific tasks with a wider political context in mind
